I know i haven't blogged in a million years.. But here i am! :D Shall update about my trip to Bintan with H07.
First, let me tell you who went.
There's Esther,

Peiwen,

Ryun Kiat,

Melissa Png,

Ziya,

Don,

Shawn,

Sherlyn,

Me,

Melissa Lin,

And last but not least, Andy, who put in the most effort for this trip.

(FYI: I will post pictures from all the cameras, so might have some repeated photos, but different angles. Haha.)
Day 1:
Peiwen, Mel Png, Esther and i shared a cab to the ferry terminal where we met the rest at 7.10am. Got there and realised my lock was missing so i bought a new one. :( Had breakfast and as usual, most of them were late. THAN, Shawn came and said that his passport is gonna expire so they are not allowing him to get a ferry ticket! So we had to go ahead first as the rest of us booked our ticket already while he had to go down to lavender to renew his passport.
We checked in with lots of time to spare, so the picture taking begins!
Our boarding gate

Group Photo: At the ferry terminal before boarding

Looking at the map to finalise our iternery.

Our stack of passports!

Our Barang barang! Yes, we brought food over like spag and beehoon to cook as we didnt want to waste money paying for the over priced meals there.

There was a pathetic duty free behind us. It's really small.

Our ferry! I think.

The LOOOOOOOOOONG walk to the ferry.

On the ferry. It was quite plesant actually.

So when we reached, we were greated with a small immigration counter. I think there were about 4 counters? And when we exited, there were shops selling stuff and resorts stores and there's this shop that sells CUP NOODLES for SGD$3.80 i think. So anyway, we headed straight for the bus that will bring us to Bintan Lagoon Resort.
On the bus ride over

Taken on the bus

The hotel lobby

Taken while checking in. We wanted to say we had 7 people staying as it would be cheaper. But end up, we all were sitting around and the hotel found out we had 10 people instead, so we had to pay for another extra SGD$60 for 3 persons for 2 nights. It's quite affordable also anyways. But as this happened, almost everyone had a bed/mattress to themselves.

The swimming pool. Looks damn shiok right!

I was slacking and posing for the camera while the rest unloaded. =x

The hotel lobby

Buggy ride to our villa.

Now, let me show you around the villa. Well, just photos, but you know what i mean. :)
Our villa!!

The kitchen

The dining area.

One of the single rooms where Sherlyn and i slept. We laid a mattress on the floor.

The other single room where Don and Shawn slept.

The living room

We pushed everything aside to fit the queen mattress there.

The master bathroom comes with a tub. The other common toilet doesn't.

The Tv, obviously. hahaha. There's another TV in the master bedroom.

The bench and table outside. There's also a BBQ pit!

So, after some makan of instant noodles, we headed out to play in the sun!
First went to the swimming pool.

Than to the beach! The beach recreation area.

Big waves! I've never enjoyed playing with waves this much before.

Nice puffy clouds.

The small hut is actually a massage area.

Rain shower head at the public beach shower area.

Looks photoshopped but its not!

The stupid over cast sky which didnt rain till at night and still gave us a slight sunburn.

This Lagoon Burger cost us SGD$18++!!

Peiwen's art.

Peiwen's love for me!! As you can see the heart on my back. :D

Thanks to Esther.

Nice shot i got of Peiwen!

Lazing by the beach.

A tiny hermit crab we found i think..?

So after that, we headed back to the villa where we had our dinner of Spag Bolognese and Carbonara. I hope i spelt it correctly. Andy's a great cook i swear.
Played tumbling towers, which is FOC but you have to put a deposit of SGD$20 with them incase you damage their stuff or don't return.

We also played Mini Mahjong which Shawn brought.

Than after we showered, we went to SHISHA! It's SGD$12 nett. So if there's 12 people, its $1 each!

Esther, Peiwen and I.

Than after that, we went back and SLEEP!
Day 2:
In the morning, Andy cooked pancakes and toast for us! It was super yummy as he added stuff like nutella and bananas!!

Than we headed out for snorkling at first, but when we got there, the staff said the waves were too strong for us so they postponed it to 2pm instead. To kill time, we decided to BANANA BOAT! It's my first time ever and its damn fun!!

The first group of noobs.

2nd group to go!

3rd group!

It was so fun and though it's quite steep at SGD$18 for 15 mins, it was fun! And this activity needs safety! I kindda injuried my neck. It think i hit the waters neck first and it has been aching ever since. Its better now though. I wanted to jet ski but its SGD$50 for 15 mins!!! What a rip off!
Than we headed back to the villa for lunch of Beehoon! It's just as yummy! See how much we saved by bringing out own food! :D

Then we went for our snorkling trip! We saw a TINY crab!

The photos are so blury cos it was inside a ziploc bag.

The sea bed isn't really nice. Most of the corals were dead and not much fishes. I don't think its worth it for SGD$38 for 1 and a half hours. It's just swimming at one spot and no island hopping. I would rather save the money and go somewhere else like Tioman or something. BUT! I saw a jellyfish the size of my head. Seriously!! Melissa Lin and i SWAM the fastest we could away from it. And as the waters were so choppy and the current kind of strong, most of my friends got motion sickness even though they were in the water. Sherlyn threw up. =X
Than we went back and showered and got ready for PASAR OLEH OLEH! Although it's a pasar.. It accepts SGD as well, so people going Bintan, don't bother changing money.
In the taxi to Oleh Oleh.

hahaha.

Went for a swedish massage for SGD$31 for an hour. It was rather shiok!
Oh! and guess what we saw.. DURIAN CONDOMS! HAHAHAHA! This is hilarious!

There were many flavours as well. Like Lychee, Mango, Chocolate, etc.

Than we went for DINNER! :) We had a set dinner for 8 people i think? And we added on some more things. so each person paid about $12 to $13 each. I didnt take a picture, but there's sharks fin soup also!

Sotong Balls

Fried Fish Cake

Sambal Kang kong

Fried squid! This one damn shiok!

Lemon chicken

Cereal prawns

Chilli crab

And those guys sang for us! The guy in the extreme right can sing in chinese and hokkien and canto!!

Than on the way back, we were looking at how nice the stars were!! So we rushed back to the villa, drop our stuff and rushed to the beach to star gaze! We pulled the chairs to the shore line and just lie there talking cock and looking at the stars. Obviously i fell asleep. =X When Peiwen woke me up, most of the stars were gone, covered by clouds. Went back and slept. In the middle of the night, it started POURING!
Day 3:
Woke up bright and early and drove them to the lobby where we had our buffet breakfast! SGD$24++. Steep right?

'
As usual, there's always an egg station at every hotel.

After that, we went to swim for a bit and than rushed back to shower and pack up. Checked out and left our bags with the front desk while we went to play even more!!
Some of us played Wii..

While the rest played laser tag.

And we did temp tattoos!

Than it's time to say GOODBYE. :(:(
Nice shot i took of the bus on the way to the ferry terminal.
Fooling around on the bus.
There's a Factory Outlet Store next to the ferry terminal where i bought a HUGO BOSS shirt for SGD$18!
