went to watch forbidden city with mikko the meano yesterday.
A historical retelling of the story of China's Empress Dowager, the story is seen from the eyes of an American painter, Kate Carl, who is commissioned to paint the Empress' portrait.
The Empress recounts her amazing journey from a young imperial concubine to become the Empress of China and the pressures she faced. The musical explores the myths surrounding her reign, from the controversial death of her only son to her ambitious tussle for power.

i swear mikko is so mean it's really sad. *sad sob* she kept laughing at me and making fun of me and making me feel lost and blur THEN laugh at me. -.- after the play we went to check out the new library at bishan. it's quite ok, nothing much. not much nice books also anyway.
met nic and sham after keyboard class just now. went over to study. haha. that sweet thing bought me pocky and kinder surprise la! (cos she said i was too cheapo to buy kinder surprise cos i once exclaimed to her "OMG LA NIC! $4.50 FOR 3 CHOCOLATE EGGS. SO EXPENSIVE." so yes. i'm a cheapo auntie.
