Some people just give up too easily.. If I am able to turn my weeknesses into my strength I am a level above the rest.

I always tell myself that. I will not always do the things I like or what may be the best for me. But if I am able to acomplish what I don't like to do, and do it well, I am definately a 'bigger' person.

I don't like to excercise for one. Just ask Gilbert. He has always been trying to drag me to go swimming, cycling, RUNNING.. haha! And I am alway reluctant. But now, for the past 2 weekends, I've been training with him. Running and building up my stamina for the 5km passion run. Althought it's just a fun run and a bloody short distance to many, it is an acomplishment to me.

And to my friends who are in the university, don't give up just because you can't solve a question or that graph is just so hard to understand. Take time to go think about it. What causes the graph to be like that or why does this formula equate to that..

To my friends who want to learn new things but are afraid. Be it driving or diving. It's something that you feel is beneficial than go learn it! Don't let scary thoughts dampen your spirits!

Just don't give up and turn your weeknesses into a strength!

Hello! I went to fly kite with Duuling today at Sengkang! There's an open field next to the Anchorvale CC and there's a lot of people who go there to fly kite!

First we had Macs for lunch... I wanted to drive through but that bugger asked me to park instead. I've never driven through a drive through before! Like so fun!

Anyways!

Gilbert bought a kite from Kiddie Palace for like $2.90? I was thinking, "Wah! Not bad! So cheap!" but it was kindda damaged quite fast. Plus the wind was not really good.. We can fly until the end of the string and just as suddenly, the kite would be dropping all the way down. I didn't have enough time to try and tug it and make it fly again. -.- and i was reeling in the line so fast it got all tangled up on the grass.

Better luck next time?

Are we ready? I don't ever thing we're ever ready for anything.. But the time has finally come.. We're all graduating! The feeling's so nostalgic! It has been 3 wonderful wonderful years and I highly reckon that the friends I've made in TP will always be there and we'd all grow old together. Especially my loves from H07.

There's not enough words to express how much you guys mean to me. Not just H07, my friends like Drusilla and Pearlyn and Amily who weren't technically in H07, But still every part of us nonetheless.

I should stop ranting and let the photos do all the talking. :D

ITS ONLY 7 DAYS MORE!! WOOOHOO!! I feel so excited!! There's this rush in me that flutters my heart everytime i remember that it's only 7 days more! 1 more week!

If you're wondering, work is great. It's fun and i get to learn new things everyday! BUT. you know the irritating guy is as irritating as always.. apparently, my office peeps don't really like him either. I just bear with him and his nonsense. i dont really feel much except when i'm talking on the phone with clients and he talks so damn loudly.

Anyway!! I received the Human Organ Transplant Act booklet thingy.. They asked us to fill up the yellow form if we wanna donate additional organs.. I'm filling it up right now and i need 2 witnesses. I'll wait for you to get back and i want you to sign for me. Ok? :)

Anyway, you're coming back from outfield tomorrow! I bet there's gonna be a long line of people queuing up at the phones and computers. There's no rush to call or email me (though i will be SUPER THRILLED) cos you're coming back in SEVEN days!!!!! Weeeeee.. Counting down till you come back. Love..

Hi Love,

It's been great getting your mails everyday.. but now that you're having outfield until the 5th, i wont have any news from you. I was looking forward to getting your mails in the morning when i get into the office, than i remembered you won't be sending me any until the 5th or 6th.

I miss your funny antics. I miss you trying to make fun of me. I miss you getting jealous and angry. I miss you telling me that i am annoying and irritating. I miss you scolding me, telling me that i need to exercise. Than i miss you feeding me so much.

It's 9 more days till you come back, 3 more days till you return from outfield. The feeling sucks.

It was so bad when you left. Than it got better, i missed you, but just not that bad. Now, it's back to bad.

Time passed fast today at work. Maybe it's cos i'm swarmed. But that's good. If i get home earlier and sleep earlier, days will go by faster. And the numbers will become smaller. Than you'll be home.

So glad that i got your call!!! You know, ever since you left, my phone didnt leave my side. But quite upset that we didnt say a proper goodbye. Anyway, there's no goodbye for us.. I hope.. haha.

I'm also sorry for not being able to talk to you properly.. The place was too noisy and i didnt want to walk too far cos Ivan was holding on to my plate of food. Urgh, i miss you so much.. I wish i had your shirt or something.. I miss your smell.

Anyway, buibui's been edgy the past few days. Dont know why, he keeps running away from my hand.. But, he always chiong for the food bowl..

Anyway, after my event, went over to Nichols chalet. Haha.. See & Nichols wore the shirt that Lum gave you all. Of cos, since you couldn't be there, i had to represent you. I think we looked quite cute together.. HAHA. Like siblings or something.. Can't imagine if it were you..

Nichols grandma cooked peranakan food.. The buakala was damn shiok. Haha. Oh, they gave Nichols a wedgie until his underwear tore.. TWICE. I took video, you can view it next time..

And there was this cockroach that liked beer.. It kept going into the beer can and all. It was a flying cockroach, and luckily it didnt fly.. Or else Ben Tay and i would have freaked out big time.. Yes, he is damn afraid of cockroaches.. Hahaha.

Than we went to siglap there to eat supper (again) and Louis was very nice.. He sent me home!! :)

Oh! we got Nichols Tennis racket, balls, grip and some shock absorber thingy..

I wonder how dark are you now.

I wish i was there to chase the wallaby with you.. Or to dust off the sand in your hair.

Hey love,

I got your email! I received your SMS. I even sent you 2 replies and Kng also sent you an sms the same time when i told him i received your msg. Did you get it? I said something about missing your voice and all, and when i come home, i see your email about you trying to call. It makes my heart ache to know that you actually tried to call, but it didn't go through. Isn't it late on your side when you tried to call and email me?

I hope you will never go for so long again next time. I miss you so much. There's not a second that go by that i never think of you.

Did you use your disposable camera to take pictures of the wallaby? I can imagine you getting excited about the wallaby's. I bet they're not as cute as our Buibui. They don't sleep in weird positions.

Today i ate the Famous Hong Lim Bah Kut Teh again.. The weather was so hot, i must be crazy to drink hot bah kut teh soup.. It's so unlike me.. But it was something you would do. It totally reminded me of you.

Work is ok.. Today was not really stressful. Got quite a lot of artwork to chiong and liaising with clients and proposals to finish. But i managed to finish it. I always think of you quietly supporting me like you always do.

Than i went to clark quay for dinner at brewerks for Jon See's birthday. Only Kng, Jerome, Nichols and Bomb from our side came. They were all disturbing me as usual.. -.- Only this time, don't have you to stop them... Or rather, according to Kng, 1 less person to disturb me also..

I don't mind if you disturb me. You're always funny and it will eventually make me laugh like a mad person. I don't mind if you continued to disturb me forever. It would mean, you're gonna make me smile.. forever.

Anyway, Lum's gift for you arrived. It's a shirt that has a print on it that says "Bb" Nichols one says "Nn" and Jon See's "Ss". Haha. They said they're going to wear it tomorrow during Nichols chalet.. Don't mind, i'm gonna wear it before you do.

Ok, i'm going to feed buibui and go to bed now. Don't keep worrying that i'll be stressed at work. Yeah, its stressful, but the people there are very nice.. So it's not so tough.

And does the sand irritate your sinus all? Make sure it doesn't go into your eyes ok? They're so sensitive. And you mentioned that the sand makes you look 20 years older.. But you won't get grey eyebrows when you're 40! More like 30 or 40 years older or sth..

I guess we just gotta wait and see huh? We'll see who's grows the fastest. I doubt mine will be faster cos you remember that day we went to Jeff's place.. i plucked out like 5-6 strands of white hair.. Duuling.. yours starting already!! MUAHAHAHAHAH!

Hey love!!

It's 12.30 over here. I know it's very late and why am i still up right? Well, i met Jasmine for dinner and i just got home not too long ago. Stayed in the office for quite a while to clear up some stuff and i was late in meeting her. i forgot to bring my phone to work today! So careless of me. But it felt quite carefree not to have the phone ringing all day long. Though my clients did call me several times.

Anyway, i bought mascara and eyeliner.. Since my eyeliner dried up and my mascara's my mom's.. =x Not that i want to spend.. It's.... i need it la.. Since you know, my lashes are quite long and i need to enhance it so that i can see buibui better.

My weekend's fully booked man! Birthdays every day.. Friday, Saturday and Sunday! 1 day 1.. With 2 from your side..

Ok, this will be a short entry, cos i am quite tired and i gotta wake up early tomorrow.

It's 9pm here, 11pm over there. You must be asleep already. So did you see the stars today? Did you manage to see any kangaroos? I know about the vapour coming out of your mouth and nose. It's damn fun to do! Like, hold your breadth for a while to make it warm than breathe out.. Can see better under light.

It's getting more and more busy over here. :( Miss your voice encouraging me.

I went to Bukit Merah to collect some posters today. Than i went to ikea to grab some stuff, and i saw your friends! Jerome, Nichols and Louis (and 2 of their friends) were there eating hotdogs. I think Nichols ate like 5 or sth. haha! The weather was so hot, i was quite pek cek and i think i looked a bit mad or sth. Than i heard someone shouting my name.. Thought who..

Than i went to find peiwen.. Was supposed to have lunch at ABC but i didnt have time, gotta rush off for my meeting at 2pm.. Which lasted until 4pm. Wah, nearly feel asleep.

So anyway, i went home with Peiwen today. And she bought me Char Siew cos i didnt manage to eat the famous Char Siew that is very nice there. So sweet hor..

I'm meeting Jasmine tomorrow for dinner or sth. Hope I won't have a lot of work to do tmr so i can go off on time.

Today i was listening to some songs, and it all reminded me of you.. I so can't wait for you to come back..

Oh, Peiwen said she wanna work for my company for Halloween. Haha.. Just cos we're gonna be playing with facepaint.. Mad woman.

I'm thinking of the smell that is always on your shirts.. I can remember it, but i can't smell it.. (i can only smell my smelly feet! Hahaha)

It's day 2 without you now.. Was uploading some Hell's kitchen into the iTouch. haha. i know i am a bit slow.. the season's finished already. well, i dont really have time to go watch (unlike peiwen). was watching 1 episode on my way to work. and my journey passed rather quickly. :D

Met esther, mel png and peiwen for dinner just now. Although you didnt call, i can just imagine me calling you after i shower to tell you about my meal and what stupid jokes we told each other.

Well, i guess, this is my form of communication now.

Mel brought us to this 'restaurant' at Kovan for dinner. I had Vongole.. It's damn nice! The clams are like overflowing and its salty.. I know i know, i'm not supposed eat to such salty stuff, but i love it!! And we shared some beef pizza.. the beef was alright.. but the mushrooms underneath was AWESOME!! i'm sure you'd love it if you were here.

BTW, my sis got 9/100 for her A math.. =x

Today was so hot.. but i'm sure its not as hot as yours over there. It was killing me.. Had to go for meetings and walk under the hot sun was ridiculous! saw an ang mo sitting on the ground under the wall's shadow while waiting for his gf to shop or something. he looks rather flushed, thought he was going to pass out.. and i thought ang mos love the hot weather??

oh i miss you so much. :( i wonder what you did today.. you came online and left me a FB comment.. You had no idea how it bugs me that i missed it by a few hours.

you mentioned that we're going some place nice for dinner after you come back? i cant wait!! :D

Oh, i'm working on halloween.. we're gonna paint our face and 'scare' the kids at the event or something. quit exciting! maybe i'll become the scary school girl again. remember we saw the bumble bee last year with jas and shawn?

it's been about 1 day since you left. you have no idea how much i missed you. wonder if you miss me more, or i missed you more. remember to put more lip balm and body lotion. the weather there is so dry, you're gonna be jumping when you drink orange juice on your flight back.

i was so happy to receive your messages last night after you touched down. you couldn't believe how i was smiling to myself with tears in my eyes. we've never been apart for so long.. 1 month apart that is. last time during BMT you were still able to call me, so it wasn't so bad (although i was crying every time you called).

i was overjoyed when you managed to call me just now. i know it won't be often, but it is still good to hear your voice and your childish antics. i loved how your voice 'perked' up when i say 'i love you'. how you describe the beautiful scenery and wished i was there. i wish i was there too. keeping both our feet warm by huddling together. i wish i could teach you how to feed kangaroos.

next time ya?

just now i tried to catch buibui, he ran away from my hand and hid behind the food bowl (it was overturned). like he can ever hide behind it.. he's so fat..

i had KFC for lunch just now, and i thought of you. of how you and your friends who always frequent kallang macs with the free flow drinks. we'd eat until so full and our fingers were always oily. how you'd always change the mash potato to cheese fries for me. everything i did/do, it reminds me of you.

it's 8.30pm here, 10.30pm there. i bet you're asleep. remember to use the blankets and dont kick them away like how you always do at home. you'll catch a cold.

Hi all!

Well, i decided to blog today because I'm feeling quite free as I didn't go out for dinner and came straight home from work.. Work? You say? YEAH BABY! My internship just started on Monday. It's supposed to be Wednesday but since i had no life and was very free, i agreed to go down on Monday instead. And another reason why I'm suddenly blogging again after my blog died some time ago is cos i have to do some stupid reflection journal every month to keep track of our learning. -.- Stupid right..

Well, as i'm very vain and i do have some outbreaks like pimples and the most recently FRECKLES! I love to use Photoshop to edit them away. And basically that's it. HAHA. But recently, I've been using Photoshop to design i.live banners and other photos that i try and create to make it look artsy but fail miserably. But I would say i am quite good with Photoshop for a non-design student.

My main point is that, one of the reasons why my company hired me is because I wrote in my resume that i am 'Proficient in Photoshop.' HAHAHA. Yes, I didn't go for any interview (though I really did spend 2 weeks attending interviews in Ubi, Redhill, Zoo, you name it) and they confirmed me. i was quite skeptical at first, but when i went to 'spy' on the company (i wanted to know how and what the working environment is like and where exactly is the office, etc), and when i opened the door, Coldplay's Viva la Vida was playing on the radio.

If you know me well enough, Coldplay is one of my most favorite band! It's a sign i must say! And i said yes on the spot! :) Oh, if you're wondering (and i have not mentioned it), i'm working for this Events company. They deal with D&Ds, family day, roadshows, carnivals, and all those. Cos I've been planning i.live's events for quite some years now, i know roughly how it's run and all, and so i thought i could give this a shot!

Ok, anyway, back to my main point, how's work.. Well, this week I've been designing posters and banners, etc. And I'm quite proud of it actually. If you took a look at my old i.Live banners and posters design, you would think that it's plain and all. But here, within a week, I found my creative steak (i know i always complain to nic that i have no artistic flare in me). The first 2 days, i designed a pirate & Olympic themed posters. I followed my supervisor's ideas and style of designing. Those were for actual clients. Than when i was done with it, he gave me another assignment, to design a retro style poster. This one was just utter randomness and there was no project with a retro theme. So i went online to surf the net and look for inspiration. THAN, i found some Photoshop brushes. I tell you, they're miracles! HAHAHHA! i knew of their existences but i never wondered by i didn't use them. I did use downloaded brushes before than i changed my computer and everything was gone. I only loved to play around and download all sorts of cute fonts.

Than for my pirate and Olympic posters, my supervisor had to make major adjustments like don't use this picture, and change the colour, shift this here, make this bigger, use brighter colours. I only used photos i found online and just inserted them into the poster etc. THAN came the retro assignment. I played with all sorts of retro circle brushes and pictures and all. AND my supervisor said 'It's nice! We can use this next time we have a retro theme project.' and DIDN'T make amendments. He even asked my other colleagues to come and take a look. I was so shy but delighted as well. If i could blush, I would have been a tomato.

Than today he asked me to do a backdrop with a Halloween theme. And he liked it so much i think he's going use it for multiple Halloween projects. HEEHEE.

Ok, that's all for now, I'm going to go read my book. :D
